There are many varieties of peppers with different flavors including sweet, spicy, or hot. Bell peppers are sweet peppers that are red, yellow, and green. Habanero peppers and jalapeno peppers are spicy!

Peppers are annuals and need to be replanted each planting season. It is best to start your pepper plants indoors. Plant the pepper seeds ¼ inch deep and use a heating mat to help. Plant your peppers outside when it is at least 60 degrees at night. Pepper plants will grow peppers in 60-90 days. Pepper plants need full sun for healthy fruit. The longer a pepper stays on the plant, the sweeter it will be.
